As a teenager it was a wonder for me that love could be the greatest of all the virtues one can have in the world, but as I grew older I came to realize that truly it is. Come to think of it, how will a father be able to take care of his children if not for love, how will a mother be so much consumed for the betterment of her children if not for love, even the Holy Bible told us that God so love the world that he gave his only begotten Son as a ransom for our freedom. It took a great sense of love for a powerful being to come low and lay down himself for the freedom of man.
It is impossible to love without giving, though it is very possible to give without loving, when you look at all the virtues of life that makes one become a person, all of them have their root in love. Love is the greatest virtue in life.
